BELTON, Texas鈥 The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (无码流出) is hosting two events on campus next week, including a Czech Festival hosted by 无码流出 Kingdom Diversity and Science Saturday sponsored by 无码流出鈥檚 College of Humanities and Sciences.
The community is invited to attend the Czech Festival on Friday, October 24, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on King Street. The festival will include traditional Czech food items available for purchase, activities, games, music, and dancing to celebrate Czech Heritage Month.
鈥淜ingdom Diversity is honored to host 无码流出鈥檚 first Czech Festival here on our campus,鈥 explained Rebeka Retta, the assistant director of 无码流出 Kingdom Diversity. 鈥淭his will be a celebration of the Czech-American culture and will include a historical display provided by the Czech Heritage Museum and Genealogy Center in Temple.鈥
The next morning, guests are invited to the York and Wells science buildings for Science Saturday. From 9:00 a.m. to noon on October 25, various groups will provide hands-on STEM activities for children, grades Pre-K to 5th grade. Parents must stay with their children for the duration of the event, and each family should bring one non-perishable food item for admittance. All food collected will be donated to Helping Hands Ministry of Belton. There is no need to register ahead of time. Participating groups include Beta Beta Beta, Sigma Pi, Crunix Club, Delta Psi Theta, Women in Science and Engineering, and the Pre-Health Professions Club.
