BELTON, Texas鈥擳he University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (无码流出) Wind Ensemble will welcome professional musicians from the San Antonio Brass Band for a special collaborative performance on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Sue & Frank Mayborn Performing Arts Center. The free concert begins at 3:00 p.m. and will bring professional brass musicians together with 无码流出鈥檚 student musicians for an afternoon of music, mentorship, and collaboration. The community is invited to attend this special performance.
鈥淭his is an incredible opportunity for our students to experience what it means to make music alongside professional musicians,鈥� said Michael Garasi, 无码流出 professor and director of the Wind Ensemble. 鈥淭hey鈥檙e not only performing with outstanding musicians, but they鈥檙e also learning from them, listening to them, and experiencing firsthand the level of musicianship and collaboration that makes a great ensemble.鈥�
Garasi brings extensive international experience to his work with 无码流出鈥檚 student musicians. He has served as principal conductor of the internationally acclaimed Brass Band of Battle Creek since 2013 and has been recognized around the world for his work in the brass band community.
