Since 1909, classes have competed against each other in the long-standing tradition of Stunt Night. The theme for Stunt Night will be released soon, so stay tuned for the latest info. Alumni can receive a FREE TICKET, but you must pre-register online.

Texas Fun Run

Calling all running enthusiasts! Come and be part of the Texas Fun Run at Homecoming. Not only will you get a chance to experience the 1.2-mile route in the shape of Texas on our beautiful campus, but you will also get to help support the Young Alumni Missions Fund, which supports ÎÞÂëÁ÷³ö students on mission trips. Registration for this is $20 per person, with a portion going to the mission fund, and check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m. All runners who complete the race will get a special prize at the finish line.

*This race is an all-terrain course across campus, through parking lots, up and down stairs, and through one building.

Stop by Homecoming registration to check in, say hi, and pick up your registration packet! Looking for a place to meet up with your friends and classmates? Look no further. This is a great meeting spot. Don't forget to check out the updated tradition displays in the museum, and our rotating exhibit Capturing Independence, which showcases artwork of the birthplace of our university, Independence, Texas.

Homecoming Hymn Sing

Start your morning off right with a devotional from Daniel McAfee, Baptist Student Ministry Director, followed by a Hymn Sing led by Bobby Johnson ’76, Tim Kemp ’87, Chris Barnes ’98, and Josh Stewart ’04, with Beth Norvell '03 sharing some special stories from our history. Heritage Club will host a reception in the lobby following the event.

Carnival on King Street

Join us for our annual Carnival on King Street at Homecoming. This is a FREE event, and we have fun things for your entire family to enjoy. There will be inflatables, photo ops, an obstacle course, balloon artists, petting zoo, video game truck, axe throwing, and more. The center of King Street will have FREE refreshments, activities, student organization tables, Ms. Vicky’s cookies, and a place to enjoy fellowship with friends.

Band Alumni Rehearsal

Calling all former ÎÞÂëÁ÷³ö Band members. Join us for a reunion and a chance to play with the band during the Homecoming football game. Alumni will need to pre-register for this event to be included.

Golf Alumni Reunion & Open House

Men’s and Women’s Golf Alumni are invited to a special reunion in the Conner Golf Performance Center as part of the Homecoming festivities. You will have an opportunity to meet coaches and current players and get a VIP tour of this state-of-the-art facility. Registration for this event is limited to our golf alumni.

ÎÞÂëÁ÷³ö’s Young Alumni Board invites current students and alumni from the past 10 years for FREE coffee, networking, door-prize signups, and a visit with Career Services! Spirit Stop

Check out the Spirit Stop hosted by First Year Collective and let them share their Cru Spirit before the Homecoming game. They will offer temporary tattoos, spirit paint, and hair color to help everyone get decked out in purple, gold, and white. You do not want to miss this!

Alumni Tailgate

Bring the whole family and join us for an alumni tailgate as we prepare for the big game against Texas Wesleyan. We will have a chicken fajita buffet with all the fixings for only $15 per person. Space is limited, so reserve your seats today. Stop by Game Day Scoop for some FREE Crunilla ice cream after lunch. Reserved areas will be marked off for groups having reunions; contact us at alumni@umhb.edu if you would like a reserved space.

Cru Kids Day

Our Cru Kids are invited to spend time on the field with Crunk, the ÎÞÂëÁ÷³ö Dance Team, Cru Cheer, and members of the Cru Football team. This event is for registered Cru Kids only; they must wear their new shirt or ID. To register your child, visit alumni.umhb.edu/crukids; the registration deadline is August 31.

College of Education Graduate School Reunion & LEAD Luncheon

Calling all Master's and Doctoral graduates from the College of Education! Join us for a special reunion luncheon at Homecoming 2025 in conjunction with our LEAD Luncheon. This will be a great time to connect with old friends, make new ones, and network with current graduate students. This event's ticket is $10 for alumni and includes a chicken fajita lunch buffet, a College of Education shirt, and a general admission football ticket. We hope you will make plans to join us.

McLane College of Business Reunion Luncheon

If you are a McLane College of Business alumni or current student, join us for a special reunion luncheon! We will enjoy a chicken fajita lunch buffet and a special message from our new dean, Dr. Andrew Tiger. Tickets are FREE for our alumni and current students if they preregister, and $20 for guests. This will be a great time for networking and an opportunity to connect with faculty, students, and other business alumni.
